Sweet Nothings. March 2017
Sweet Nothings - March 2017
Good morning, isn't the weather just so amazing!?
Spring break is just around the corner and I can't wait to get a little free time to work on my garden and spend time with my boys, doing some important family time. :) What are you planning to do during spring break?
Next week I will announce a fun campaign that I will launch. Stay tuned! It involves photos, baking and eggs... :)
Right after spring break we will be back on KXAN Studio 512 doing a segment about healthy granola bars. I will post the date it will air as soon as I I know it!
CLASSES:
PETIT FOUR / TEA PARTY
March 4th 10am-2pm (ages 8-15)
Some of you may know this, but when the kids and I are done baking and we have any time left we always have a tea party. So, I thought why not make this a theme. I will bake a sheet cake ahead of time and teach the kids how to make fancy petit fours and then we will have a tea party. Of course there will be petit fours coming home to share.
UNICORN CUPCAKES
March 11th 10-2pm Ages 8-14
Kick off spring break with some magical unicorn cupcakes. As always we will make everything rom scratch including a little "magic" for our unicorns. :)
Kids will bake cupcakes, make buttercream, fondant and decorate the cupcakes. Each student will leave with recipes, cupcakes to share and a whole new understanding what makes unicorns so special.
FRENCH MACARONS
March 25th 10-2pm. Ages 8-15
In this class students will learn how to make French macarons from scratch. Each student will leave with macarons to share, the knowledge how to make them again, recipes and confidence.
Our classes are always hands-on, educational and fun!
