Try Our Apple Rose Recipe!
Supplies:
1 apple cored and sliced
1/2 lemon
water
1 Tbsp apricot jelly
1 sheet of puff pastry
Procedure:
Preheat oven to 375 F.
Core and slice apple, place in a microwave-safe bowl, add 1/2 a lemon and cover with water and microwave until "floppy."
In a separate bowl stir 1 Tbsp apricot jelly and 1 Tbsp water, microwave for 30 seconds.
Thaw a sheet of puff pastry and using flour roll out a little
Cut into 6 equal strips.
Brush each strip with apricot jelly and place apple slices overlapping a little.
Fold bottom of puff pastry over and roll into flour.
Bake:
Place in a buttered cupcake pan and bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
You can brush with more apricot jelly to add a little gloss.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar. After they are golden brown, let cool and enjoy!
