To brighten your day a little
Good morning,
I hope this finds you well. I don't have many wise words at the moment. I am here and I am going to do everything in my power to stay connected and be of service.
Starting Monday at 11 am I will be posting baking videos on my Bake Austin Facebook and Instagram pages.
Every weekday at 11am with recipes for your kids and you.
I will try to keep them simple so basic things like flour, sugar, powdered sugar, salt, eggs, milk, baking powder, baking soda, chocolate chips, cocoa powder. I will figure out a system to give you heads up about what to have on hand. So if you are not following me on my social media platforms, now is a good time.
The perfectionist in me is cringing that I don't have a well thought out plan right now, I am shooting from the hip (my new favorite phrase).
I am also working on an online baking program for kids (and for adults), so hopefully, we can find a way to still bake together and for you to have a well-deserved break..... kind of like you can have your cake and eat it too situation. :)
For now, here are a few little offerings:
I totally get it! You need things for your kids to do!
We can help!
We have a bunch of Unicorn kits available for pick up (drive by and we will leave it outside in a shelf for you with your name on it).
I also can send them in the mail, I will make one trip to the post office a week.
We will email you a comprehensive shopping list, including a list of baking ingredient substitutions.
Each kit comes with a password for the secret unicorn portal, where your kids will find how-to videos, printable recipes, and also a cute unicorn story some students and I wrote about a unicorn in a baking competition.
The kit has all the tools to make Unicorn cookies, pop tarts, and ravioli!
Yes, your kid will learn how to make pasta!!
All you need is the ingredients and they are not complicated! and it even comes with an iron-on patch!

Going through my computer I found a bunch of cute videos! Here is one from, what feels like a million years ago! My boys making Food Imposter Cheeseburger cupcakes!

I have set up a private Facebook group and I am inviting all of my clients to come to join and share what they are doing!
