What's cooking?!
How is everyone doing?!
Hello, I am writing to you from my front porch, it is already way to hot for my taste. I have enjoyed the cooler weather, the evenings out in my backyard, the quiet walks around my neighborhood in the cool morning breeze... It has been one of the things that has kept me sane in the last 6 weeks.
What have you been doing to keep yourself somewhat together?
I can't even imagine how some of you parents are coping with the whole homeschooling thing. You know my kids are older, but I can't even imagine how some of you are juggling working from home and at the same time homeschooling your kids.
Do you see all these happy faces? This is another way I have kept myself sane! My online classes have been so much fun! The kids are amazing and I am hopeful that this is also helping you, parents. I know a lot of my usual Bake Austin fans have not taken advantage of my free online classes yet.
I am planning on hosting these for at least three more weeks. I might take one week off in May.
Before summer camps start!
So here are three things for you:

Be prepared for a super fun summer camp season! We are taking all of our camps online, we are changing a few things up but also adding some super cool camps! More VERY soon!
And before I leave I wanted to share a gift my dear friend Melissa offers. It is basically a survival guide for parents:
Your Sanity during Uncertain Times: http://workmuse.com/workfromhome. Here's what this comprehensive guide covers:
How to shift your mindset and focus from fear to gratitude,
How to hack homeschooling & give yourself permission to skip some things,
How to slay remote work with radical boundary-care,
How to implement job sharing principles to your new work-life,
And why job sharing is relevant to employers at this moment.
Stay strong, stay safe, and love each other! Give your kids a giant hug from me!
And remember you got this! My motto in hard times is: Go slow, don't panic!
Hopefully I will see you in one of my classes soon!
