Three more days
In three days we are wrapping up our 9 week free culinary classes for kids and pivot to summer camps.
We are super grateful for the hundreds of kids that have joined us over the last 9 weeks and can't even express the amount of love and appreciation we have for each and every one of these families!

Today, Wednesday we are making Quiche at 3:30 pm
Here is what you will need:
1 1⁄2 cup flour
1 stick unsalted butter Pinch of salt
1 cup of water
1⁄2 cup Cooked bacon or ham or any vegetables
3⁄4 cup milk
Parsley or leeks, or green onions
4-5 eggs
1⁄2 cup grated cheese
Thursday we are making a fun cookie pizza at 11 am
Ingredients needed:
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1.5 sticks unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup packed light or dark brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg, at room temperature
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1 and 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Toppings, like m&m’s, fruit, coconut, nuts, etc.
and Friday, by request from several kids, we are making Chicken Pot pie for dinner at 3:30 pm
Ingredients needed:
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 ½ lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cubed
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
½ white onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup potato, cubed
2 cups frozen pea and carrot
4 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups chicken broth
1 1/2 cups flour
1 stick butter
1 egg, beaten
The classes are usually around 2 hours and most kids do it all alone.
