The Basics - Baking 101
Hello everyone!
When starting on a new journey, it is always a good practice to make a list of questions you might have, so that right off the bat, you can begin to acclimate. Will there be a lot of measuring conversions? Is it really disruptive to go out of order when using a recipe? Why is following steps so important?
I know that when I began learning about baking as a child, my biggest challenge was following the directions of the recipe. Once you understand why the ingredients are listed the way that they are, you will begin to know how to prepare for the instructions (step-by-step list) without even looking.
Here is a fundamental video on Oven Safety for all of the campers that are already enrolled in the Baking 101 Summer Camp. Only a few more spots left!
