If you are still looking for a quick and fun Valentine’s recipe (if not save this for later):
You only need chocolate chips, heavy cream, and whatever toppings you wish. It takes about 1 hour and you have the most delicious chocolate truffles.
CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES
Ingredients:
2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup heavy cream
vanilla extract (optional)
toppings like: cocoa powder, sprinkles, colored sugar, coconut flakes, powdered sugar, or chopped nuts
Instructions:
In a heatproof bowl warm cream to hot, but not boiling. If using a microwave this can take about 30 -45 seconds
Add the chocolate chips and cover with a lid for 5 minutes.
Stir the mixture until smooth.
Chill in the fridge until set. Pro tip: If you put the mixture in a casserole dish it will cool faster.
Scoop the truffle mixture with a small spoon and roll in desired topping.
If you missed our last newsletter, here is the recipe I shared, I know it sounds too good to be true but it is really yummy:
Ingredients:
1 1⁄2 cups heavy cream
1 cup dark chocolate chips
How to make chocolate mousse:
Fill 1 inch of water in the saucepan and bring to a boil.
Lower heat to a simmer and place a heatproof bowl over the steam. (make sure the bowl does not touch the water)
Melt the chocolate chips in the bowl. Remove from heat.
In a separate bowl beat heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold the melted chocolate and whipped cream together.
Fill in pretty cups and chill in the fridge for 1 hour.
Decorate with fresh raspberries.
Enjoy!
You are loved!
