Honoring Pascal: A Living Tribute & Art Project

Dear friends,

We'd like to invite you to participate in a special event honoring Pascal Simon on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 12 pm to 3 pm. The tribute will be held at Spike Gillespie's Ranch 3409 Caldwell Lane Del Valle, TX 78617.

Pascal, a chef & an artist who has touched many lives, is creating a unique art project called "They Charge Extra for Baggage!" This project is a way to celebrate her life and the connections she's made. It's a chance for us to come together and create a living tribute filled with warmth and joy. The title, "They Charge Extra for Baggage," playfully reflects the idea of letting go of what no longer serves us as we move through the stages of life.

A Thought for Families:

Since you last saw her, Pascal's health has changed, and she will be using a wheelchair at the gathering. While we want to include everyone, we understand that seeing someone in this state may be a sensitive experience. We wanted to share this information so you can make the best decision for your family.

Participating in the Art Project:

If you would like to participate in the symbolic aspect of Pascal's art project, you can write down something you'd like to "release" or let go of. This could be a worry, a negative thought, or anything you feel comfortable symbolically letting go of. Please place your note in a sealed envelope marked with a "P" for Pascal. You can either mail it to:

Or, bring your sealed envelope to the gathering. These notes will be included in a special part of Pascal's art project. Please know that no one will read these notes.

Please bring a potluck dish to share (no chicken or cake pops, please) and a musical instrument if you'd like to join in a group jam.

This will be a time to celebrate Pascal's vibrant spirit and the positive impact she's had on our community.
