Here is my latest appearance on Studio 512 KXAN we talked about 3 easy holiday treats that kids can make.
It is always so much fun to be on Studio 512. On Monday, I was back on Studio 512 with Stephanie Gilbert. We talked about easy holiday treats you can mak with your kids or your kids can make on their own.
Easy Gingerbread Houses Flat- I know for some people making an entire Gingerbread House feels like a daunting task, so why not just do the front of the house and why not build an entire village of Gingerbread houses? You can use up any remaining Halloween Candy or any snacks you have in your pantry. We have both recipes for you on our website: Gingerbread & Royal Icing
Let your creativity flow!
If you are looking to learn how to make a traditional Gingerbread House, we have a virtual class coming up, where I will be sharing all my tips and tricks on how to build a successful Gingerbread house.
Next we talked about another super easy holiday treat to make: Chocolate Spoons. These are so easy to make, they make great gifts and or are just fun to have around. Warm up some milk, use your chocolate spoon to make chocolate milk or stir a chocolate spoon in hot coffee with a dash of cream for an instant mocha.

YUM!
And the last holiday treat we featured are our Sugar Cookie Christmas Tree Popsicles.
These are super cute, you could grab some rice crispy treats and make an entire forest edible center piece…. even dust them with some powdered sugar for snow…. or slip them each in a celofan bag and put a pretty ribbon around the popsicle stick and make lovely gifts for your friends or your kids teachers.
Here is our recipe!
We hope you are having a lovely time and are not too stressed out about the holidays.
Don’t forget to take good care of yourself.
Until next week!
