Hello everyone,
thank you so much for your support! We are nominated to win Best Summer camp in the Austin Chronicle’s Best of Austin reader’s poll.
I feel so grateful and honored to have another chance at this. As a small business, we can use all the help we can get, and winning Best Summer Camp three years in a row would be INCREDIBLE! But I need your help.
Please vote! It takes less than 1 minute. (If you have not voted they will ask you to add your email address to ensure you are not a robot. They will not spam you!)
Please vote in the Kids/Family Category - Best Summer Camp and while you are at it, you know how much I love the Austin Tinkering School!
The Austin Tinkering school is nominated for Best youth STEM program. Kami and I have been supporting each other for a few years now, we have helped each other to get through the pandemic and cheered each other on as our businesses had to withstand many chances. Both of us run a women-owned business while raising our families.
Here is a little about the Austin Tinkering School:
Kami started her school over ten years ago and is the most fun and loving person! She has these super fun camps where kids can use power tools (safely of course) and build incredible things. Kids learn how to use tools and create amazing things like benches, frames, and rollercoasters, over the years I have seen doll houses and chairs being built by kids. As a kid, I would have LOVED to be in Kami’s classes and I know so many people who have sent their kids to Kami’s camps. If you have children interested in tinkering, building, and crafting, please check out Kami’s incredible summer camps!
I saw camps, like Soap Box Derby, Spy Kids Camp, Rube Goldberg Machines, and Wizard School, as well as Puzzle Building, as well as her classic Tinker Camps. Get in on the fun!
Also, a lot of our camps are starting to fill up as we are getting closer to the summer.
If you have not taken a look at our fun cooking & baking summer camps please take a look!
I will be back with some photos from the two weddings I just attended and the cakes I worked on.
Have a great Monday!
