As I told you last week, we were on TV. Studio 512 graciously invited us back into the studio. It is always so much fun to chat with Rosie and share a little recipe.
This time we made Chocolate Parfait for National Chocolate Parfait Day.
You can watch our Studio 512 appearance here:
Of course, we are going to share the recipe with you.
To make 4 decadent chocolate parfaits:
Chocolate mousse:
1 cup chocolate chips, melted with 1/2 cup heavy cream
1 cup of heavy cream, whipped
Gently fold both together and set in the fridge to chill for 1 hour
Best ever whipped cream:
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla
1 Tbsp powdered sugar
Whip the heavy cream, vanilla, and powdered sugar until you see lines forming, then test and see if the mass moves.
If it stays in place inside the bowl it is ready to be used.
1 cup of berries of your choice, sliced
16 Oreos, chopped with a knife
To assemble:
In a pretty glass layer chopped oreos, followed by chocolate mousse, followed by whipped cream, then berries, and then repeat.
Top with more berries or a whole Oreo.
Enjoy!
You can make these the night before and keep them in the fridge.
I hope you will try this super easy recipe next time you need a chocolate fix.
Until next time,
Chef Pascal
